Lex Luthor With Rebirth Armor Funko POP! Announced
The Funko Specialty Series POP!s are online exclusives much like the standard Funko.com ones. If you’re lucky enough you can come across them in stores. From the heel ends of The New 52 and into Rebirth, comes Lex Luthor in his Superman-inspired battle suit.
When The New 52 Superman died, Lex Luthor was already working closely with the Justice League and would give being a hero a chance up until he became a major antagonist again in Year of the Villain. During this time, he donned a Super suit of his own along with the cape of the deceased Superman. He would wear this throughout Rebirth in the Action Comics line when it had returned to its original numbering.
Lex is easy to make a POP! of because of his head, so all the detail has to go into the little body. He even looks the part as he does the traditional Superman pose. The packaging is branded with the Superman series, which have been ongoing since 2018. This Funko has fans going crazy as Entertainment Earth, the foremost retailer for pre-orders, has sold out. Funko.com does not do pre-orders.
The Lex Luthor in his Superman Rebirth Armor Funko POP! is set to release in November and is priced at $14.99.
