Regal Movies Announce Superman-Themed Cocktails

In addition to their exclusive popcorn buckets, cups, and more, Regal Movies also revealed Superman-themed cocktails available at theaters to coincide with the release of Superman on July 11. Bars at movie theaters tend to take their menu further with exclusive and limited drinks based on the most recent releases. For Superman, Regal is doing three.

Hero’s Flight, inspired by the sky-high adventures of the Man of Steel, seems to be a spin on Long Island Iced Tea with the addition of Blue Curacao. Based on that combo, this one may really pack a punch –just be sure to stay in orbit.

Heat Vision is a spicy strawberry margarita for a fruity drink inspired by one of Superman’s many abilities. Of course, you can’t have blue at a Superman event without the red. It would have to be the spice on the rim of the glass that gives it its kick. The strawberry taste may compliment the initial spiciness.

Krypton Cooler is inspired by Superman’s home planet rather than his weakness. Vodka sours usually uses lemons, but melons have been found to work just as well. Those who enjoy a brisk screwdriver or vodka tonic before a movie will love this one.
