Fans of Superman: The Animated Series received a major treat at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, as Mondo officially unveiled its upcoming 1/6 scale articulated Superman figure. The collectible line was first announced during Superman Day at WonderCon 2025 this past April, but SDCC marked the first full public look at the Man of Steel himself.

According to Toy Shiz, the Mondo panel revealed that this Superman figure will come loaded with accessories—most notably a fully posed Lois Lane designed to be carried by Supes in a classic flying pose. Other display options and swappable parts are expected, staying true to Mondo’s reputation for premium craftsmanship.

The figure draws direct inspiration from Superman: The Animated Series, the acclaimed 1996–2000 Warner Bros. show developed by Alan Burnett and Bruce Timm. A spiritual successor to Batman: The Animated Series, it expanded the DC Animated Universe with vibrant designs, cinematic storytelling, and memorable character arcs.

The voice cast included Tim Daly as Superman/Clark Kent, Dana Delany as Lois Lane, and Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor, alongside David Kaufman (Jimmy Olsen), George Dzundza (Perry White), and others. The series’ sharp writing and distinctive art style helped define Superman for a generation and paved the way for later DCAU shows like Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

With the debut of this new collectible line, fans now have a chance to see their animated favorites brought to life in high detail. The big question is—which characters from Superman: The Animated Series should Mondo tackle next? The Mondo Superman: The Animated Series Figure is set to release this Winter, stay tuned to Mondo.com for future updates on this exciting new line.
