The new teaser for DC Studio’s Supergirl releasing this year featured new (and much more) footage of Jason Momoa as Lobo. Everything from his space bike to chain weapon are there and the casting couldn’t have been more perfect.
James Gunn took to social media to first share this BTS footage of Jason Momoa giving his thoughts on his casting, which then lead to an official look at his take on the character.
Other characters like Krem and Ruthye were also teased. It truly is looking to be an adaption of the one of best modern Supergirl stories fort a cinematic universe met to be set in the modern age. The addition of Lobo to the story may also help spice it up.
Bonus footage of Momoa teasing his role was also shown that day. He’s conquered the seas and now he’s ready to take to the stars as a character that it seems he was meant to play. With the reveal, DC may begin to release marketing and products that feature Lobo. At this point, the cat is very much of the bag.
