Bendis Reveals Upcoming Plans For Superboy
Brian Michael Bendis reveals upcoming plans for Superboy. Last week Bendis hosted an “Ask Me Anything” session over on Reddit, and several revaluations on where several Superman his current Superman run were revealed.
Since the big reveal of Jon’s new look, there have been LOTS of speculations and curiosity as to what that means for Superboy as we know him. Most of the speculations were “what if’s”… What if this Superboy (Jon) met up with the Teen Titans? Or to be more precise… What if Superboy (Jon) were to meet Conner Kent? After all, we know that there are two Superboy’s within the DC Universe – Jon: Lois & Clark’s genuine son, and Conner: the teenage clone of Superman.
Well, it is confirmed! Jon will meet Conner Kent at some point within the story arc. During the Q&A session, Bendis was asked whether the two would meet. His reply? “Jon and Conner will meet and work that out. On panel. PROMISE”. I’d take that as a DEFINITE confirmation, and I cannot wait to see how that pans out! Not only that, can expect some new looks, which could mean more new suits. Although I must say, I am a huge fan of Jon’s current new suit.
What are your thoughts about the pair meeting? I cannot wait! There have been no official announcements as to where, when and under what circumstance they meet… But we know it will happen at some point. Either way, it is going to be awesome! I’m so glad that Bendis revealed his plans for Superboy.
