DC Comics Partners With Palm Studio For Free NFT’s at DC FanDome

DC Comics are giving away free NFT’s at DC FanDome! DC Comics has partnered with Palm Studio to bring us an exclusive collection of DC Superhero NFT’s ready for DC FanDome.

NFT’s seem to have taken the world by storm recently and it’s something I’ve only really heard of over the past few weeks. Since then, they seem to be popping up everywhere I go, so it definitely seems like the latest trend when it comes to technology and collecting.

Here’s the official terminology from DC Comics:

NFT stands for non-fungible token. It is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique.  

A blockchain is a type of distributed ledger technology. It is described as an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value. In simple terms, transactions are organized into a series of blocks that are linked together and cannot be changed, which is the blockchain. A new block is created once verified. It means that a new pool of encrypted transactions have been added to the blockchain. Palm is a type of blockchain known as a sidechain. This is because it can connect to and interact with the Ethereum blockchain.  

The free NFT’s at DC FanDome have been hand selected by the one and only Jim Lee and will be available for FREE from 5th October to new and existing registered members of DC FanDome. There will also be a second NFT available for FREE to all fans that share on social media.

There will be a selection for fans to choose from which include heroes like Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn. The NFT’s for DC FanDome will offer fans the opportunity to collect three covers for each character, which vary in three levels of rarity. For example there are common NFT’s, rare NFT’s and legendary NFT’s available for each character.

As mentioned before these are completely FREE and I for one will definitely be signing up to try and get my hands on the Superman ones that are up for grabs!
