Original Superman Movies Coming to 4K Ultra HD & Blu-ray
Warner Brothers is set to release all four original Superman movies along with the Richard Donner cut of Superman II in a 4K Ultra HD & Blu-Ray Collection.
While we wait for Superman: Legacy, we can always fall back on the classic Christopher Reeve Superman series. Well, now we can enjoy them as a collection as Warner Brothers is set to release all four original Superman movies along with the Richard Donner cut of Superman II in a 4K Ultra HD & Blu-Ray Collection.
What’s to be written about the first time Superman was brought to the big screen that hasn’t been written already? These are the films that inspired the comic book creators we see spearheading the Man of Steel today. Phillip Kennedy Johnson said it best himself that he could hear John Williams’ score playing whenever he writes out panels in Action Comics.
Here’s a look at the artwork from Warner Bros Entertainment:
Superman II sees the Man of Steel taking on the trio from the Phantom Zone –General Zod (Terrence Stamp), Ursa (Sarah Douglas), and Non (Jack O’Halloran) as they try to take over the world. Superman III sees him go on an adventure with super genius Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) and Superman IV sees him taking on the Nuclear Man (Mark Pillow/Gene Hackman).
The Superman 4K Ultra HD & Blu Ray collection releases on April 18 and also includes codes for digital copies.
