Funko Announces SDCC Exclusive Bizarro Funko POP!
This SDCC Exclusive Bizarro Funko POP! will be using the Warner Bros. 100th boxing and also uses the “Summer Convention Exclusive” sticker to identify it with SDCC.
Funko have revealed their exclusive releases for San Diego Comic-Con this year, they are soon to be available from their Funkoville area at the convention and also through their website. Classic Bizarro makes his return to the POP! series as one of these exclusives with a new figure mold but with all the original elements from the 2015 figure.
Bizarro is based on his appearance from the Silver Age comics with his humorous Bizarro #1 medallion clearly made from a rock. This SDCC Exclusive Bizarro Funko POP! remasters his appearance with a more square-like head, which makes sense since Frankenstein was one of the early inspirations for the character. He’s also given a more unique stance and poses that go beyond the old Funko mold used for the original. Subtle touches like the suit creases and ripped cape really do give it a higher-definition look. The yellow eyes are a nice departure from the usual pitch-black ones.
This SDCC Exclusive Bizarro Funko POP! will be using the Warner Bros. 100th boxing and also uses the “Summer Convention Exclusive” sticker to identify it with SDCC. Prices for the new SDCC Bizarro Funko POP! have not yet been announced, but it will be available from Funko’s website for retail price on July 20th, the first day of SDCC.
