The Folio Society have released the ‘DC Comics: The Golden Age’ prestige comic book collection and it is stunning. They are an independent publisher that craft exquisite, illustrated book editions for book lovers of all ages and specialise in the books that have changed the world.
The collection spans 1938-1956 and is filled with characters, stories and comics selected and introduced by formed Editor-In-Chief and DC Comics, Jenette Kahn. The collection includes scans directly from original copies from the DC archives and original artwork from the characters creators. It is bound in printed and blocked metallic cloth and printed and blocked paper and also includes a 68-page facsimile of Action Comics #1 and an art print by Yanick Paquette. It is described as the FIRST instalment in a brand-new series in partnership with DC Comics.
