Dan Slott Rumoured To Write New Superman Story In 2025

Fan favourite and Eisner winning writer Dan Slott is rumoured to be writing Superman in 2025. Its not clear if he will be taking over the main title or joining the ‘Superman Superstars‘ initiative that was announced at New York Comic Con in 2023.

For the last several years Dan Slott has written exclusively for Marvel working on the company’s biggest titles including the Amazing Spiderman and Fantastic Four. But perhaps most notably, Slott is known for his landmark creation the Superior Spiderman which briefly replaced the Amazing Spiderman title ending its 700 issue run. Dan Slott however is no stranger to DC Comics having written issues of JLA Classified and Superman Adventures in the mid-2000s.

The prospect of Dan Slott join DC Comics and in particular the Superman family is beyond exciting. Dan Slott is a true fan who has an intricate knowledge and understanding of the characters he writes. This combined with his fearless writing style means that anything can truly happen hopefully within the pages of Superman or Action Comics.
