DC Announce ‘New History Of The DC Universe’ Book By Mark Waid, Jerry Ordway and Todd Nauck
DC Comics have announced a brand new book titled ‘New History Of The DC Universe’, a four-issue limited series written by Mark Waid and with art by Jerry Ordway and Todd Nauck.
The limited series will bring us a fresh look at the past and present of the DC Universe as seen through the eyes of The Flash. The debut issue features art by Jerry Ordway and Todd Nauck who will chronicle Barry Allen’s journey from the birth of the DC Universe to the rise of the Justice Society and the Golden Age of Heroes.
In an interview with Mark Waid he explained, “It’s a chance to realign all of DC’s sprawling continuity into one master timeline, and to be joined by some of comics’ greatest artists to make it shine. With new information for even longtime fans, plus Easter eggs galore, this series will be an essential read for DC fans.”
This series will also celebrate 90 years of DC and will features an all-star lineup of interior artists and fan-favourite cover artists. Book One will feature a main cover by Chris Samnee, with variants by Dan Mora, Ryan Sook and Mike Cho. Ryan. There will also be foil variants by Ryan Sook and Artgerm, along with a series of connecting wraparound covers by Scott Koblish.
‘New History Of The DC Universe’ is available to pre-order right now and is set for release on 25th June.
