James Gunn Reveals Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff and Michael Rooker Are In ‘Superman’

Following the buzz of the upcoming ‘Superman’ film, James Gunn has only added to that by revealing more details on some of the cast.

James Gunn is known to cast his former Guardians Of The Galaxy co-stars in other projects and ‘Superman’ is no exception. Bradley Cooper has officially been announced to play Jor-El alongside Angela Sarafyan as Lara Lor-Van. The casting of Superman’s Kryptonian parents is a big one and it will be interesting to see their take on the roles that we know so well. With Gunn constantly explaining that this is NOT an origin story, it will be interesting to see where they sit within this story.

Following that Pom Klementieff and Michael Rooker are confirmed to be voices for the Superman robots that we see in The Fortress Of Solitude. Again, it will be interesting to see how recognisable their voices are and how big a part their robots have, but it is interesting to see so many Marvel alumni join the DC Universe.

‘Superman’ is set to release on 11th July 2025 and I cannot wait!
