Deutsche Post Release Superman Commemorative Stamp

Just in time for the theatrical release of the new Superman film, Deutsche Post have released a new Superman commemorative stamp.

It will be available from 3 July in selected post offices and in the Deutsche Post online shop. The stamp with the postage value of 95 cents is available as a wet-adhesive sheet of ten. The circulation is 1.6 million copies. In addition, there is a gold edition limited to 1,000 pieces at a price of 99 euros.

The stamp was brought into stamp form by Deutsche Post graphic designer Jan-Niklas Kröger in coordination with the US publisher DC Comics. The official issuer of the stamp is the Federal Ministry of Finance.
