REVIEW: Filippo Loreti ‘Fortress Of Solitude’ Automatic Watch
Filippo Loreti have created a range of luxury time pieces inspired by Superman. A total of 5 different watches have been created honoring 5 different aspects of the Man of Steel’ mythos. They include Kryptonite, Justice, Power. Fortress Of Solitude and Kal-El.
They were kind enough to let me choose from their collection and I picked the ‘Fortress Of Solitude’ design. This watch is fantastic and a great item for any Superman fan to own. One of my favourite features was the box that it came in, it features the iconic cover from ‘The Adventures Of Superman #596’ and comes really well packaged.
The theme really matches the design of this Filippo Loreti ‘Fortress Of Solitude’ watch, the icy blue details on the watch-face is stunning, especially when contrast against the silver emblem and dial. Filippo Loreti has spared no detail with this watch, even on the underside it features Kryptonian symbols around the watch, which is a really nice detail.
The design and box isn’t even my favourite feature of the watch, it glows in the dark! The rays featured within the icy blue background glow in the dark, really making this timepiece stand out on anyones wrist.
