James Gunn Shares Details On The Future Of The DCU
With all of the excitement for the new DC Universe following the success of ‘Superman’ and the release of ‘Peacemaker’ season 2, James Gunn has been sharing details of what he’s currently working on and what fans can expect in the near future of the DCU.
James Gunn teased that he has already finished the treatment for the next story of the “Superman Saga” and is planning and hoping for it to be in production VERY soon. This was during the premiere of Season 2 of Peacemaker in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. You can watch the snippet below:
He also confirmed that he was currently writing the sequel for ‘Superman’ and has mentioned ‘The Superman Family’ a few times on social media. As a Superman fan, this is extremely exciting to hear and I honestly cannot wait to see what he has in store for us.
With ‘Supergirl’ on the horizon next in terms of a live-action film, us Superman fans are well and truly being fed and the future of the DCU is looking bright!
