Cryptozoic Entertainment have just announced a brand new instalment to their popular two-player card game, Rivals, the new release is titled, ‘DC Deck Building Game: Rivals – Superman vs Lex Luthor’.
In the two-player card game, Superman and Lex Luthor clash over the Metropolis skyline and players can build more powerful combos with their deck to be the first to take down your rival. This acts as a great entry point for new players and provides existing fans of the series a hance to add lots of fresh new cards to their collection. The game can be used as a totally standalone experience or it can be fully compatible with other titles in the ‘DC Deck-Building Game’ series.
The ‘DC Deck Building Game: Rivals – Superman vs Lex Luthor’ card game features heroes, villains, equipment, super-powers and locations pulled straight from Superman comic books and each time your rival is defeated, you gain more abilities and become a greater challenge to defeat. The confrontation cards in the series give you bonuses when you try and take down your opponent and block cards can be used to make it harder for your opponent to defeat you.
Each box comes with 99 standard cards, 6 oversized character cards, a rule book, a multiverse divider and a first print Metropolis promotional card. The game is for 2 players and is aimed towards players 15+, with a play time of 30 minutes.
