It’s the holiday season, and DC is serving up something far hotter than cocoa and cookies—December is officially All Fight Month! Beginning December 3 and running through Christmas Eve, DC K.O. Round 2 erupts into a universe-shaking brawl that will leave fans breathless as heroes and villains alike battle for a place on the ultimate bracket—and for control of a power that could reshape reality itself.

Co-architects Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson have promised fans a December they won’t forget. “When Josh and I were coming up with K.O., we realized there’s a point in the story where this big tournament all the characters are taking part in would have an all-out brawl section,” Snyder revealed. “So the result of that is a whole month of slugfests fans have speculated about for decades. These are one-shot special issues that tie into the main story of DC K.O. and show the brutal face-offs between friends and foes alike. Some results will shock you, some may thrill you, but that’s what this event is all about—knock down, drag out, brutal fun.

From Superman vs. Captain Atom to Red Hood vs. The Joker, this is where grudges get settled and legends are forged. Eight powerhouse matchups will unfold across a series of tie-ins and one-shots, each crafted by top-tier DC talent including Snyder, Williamson, Joëlle Jones, Jeremy Adams, and Mark Waid—with breathtaking art from Dan Mora, Sean Izaakse, Jorge Corona, John Timms, Jason Howard, and more.

The mayhem begins December 3 with DC K.O.: Superman vs. Captain Atom #1—a nuclear-level showdown fans have dreamed of for years. That same week, DC K.O. Knightfight #2 lands, continuing Bruce Wayne’s brutal gauntlet through future Batmen in a “battle for the cowl” that could decide Gotham’s fate.

From there, it’s open season. Aquaman battles Hawkman in Aquaman #12 on December 10 in a friendship-turned-rivalry that shakes the seas and skies. That same day, Wonder Woman and Lobo tear into each other in a fight so chaotic even the cosmos might need a timeout.

By mid-month, the carnage kicks into high gear with Cyborg vs. Swamp Thing (Titans #30, December 17) and Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna (DC K.O.: Harley Quinn vs. Zatanna #1, also December 17)—a match so unpredictable, even Zatanna’s magic might not save her.

And as the month—and the year—draw to a close, DC turns up the intensity. Jay Garrick takes on Guy Gardner (The Flash #28, December 24), Lex Luthor clashes with The Demon (Superman #33, December 24), and finally, the main event: Red Hood vs. The Joker (DC K.O.: Red Hood vs. The Joker #1). This fight isn’t just a rematch—it’s personal. Expect pain, vengeance, and redemption as two of DC’s most tormented souls face off in the deadliest brawl of the year.

Meanwhile, Justice League Unlimited #14 (December 24) by Mark Waid and Dan Mora adds cosmic depth to the chaos, as Mr. Terrific and the time-displaced Justice League battle through the demonic forces of Neron and the emotional fallout of the escalating tournament.

Each issue of DC K.O. builds toward a larger reckoning. The Heart of Apokolips beats stronger with every punch thrown, and the moral cost of ultimate power grows heavier. From shocking betrayals to jaw-dropping alliances, this event promises to redefine what it means to be a hero in the DC Universe.

So, grab your ringside seat, mark your pull list, and prepare for impact. The gloves are off, and December’s All Fight Month is ready to deliver eight rounds of pure, pulse-pounding comic book combat.
