Upper Deck To Release ‘Legendary: A DC Deck-Building Game”
Upper Deck have announced a brand new standalone entry into it’s acclaimed Legendary tabletop game series, it is titled “Legendary: A DC Deck-Building Game”.
The game, which is set to release in 2026, is set to combine the world of DC Comics and the world of tabletop gaming. It is designed for up to 5 players, even allowing single player gaming and will require players to assemble teams of heroes and villains in the DC Universe. Each game is set to last roughly 30-50 minutes and is aimed towards players 14 and over. The heroes include Superman, Batman, Starfire among others and the villains include The Joker, Two-Face and Doctor Poison to name a few. The game will also feature a ‘transform’ mechanic that encompasses the dual identities of several of the DC heroes, adding a layer of strategy and challenge.

The Legendary deck-building game features over 500 cards, 60 dividers, a playmate, a metal tracker and a rulebook, it is suitable for new gamers or seasoned gamers and promises to bring a blend of storytelling, strategy and adventure. The game is a fully independent title meaning no prior Legendary sets are required to play this game. Not only that but it also pays perfect tribute to the characters and comics they are adapted from. Here’s a look at some of the cards and playset included in the set:
