DC Comics Release More Variant Covers For Superman/Spider-Man #1
DC Comics previously announced their celebratory DC/Marvel crossover ‘Superman/Spider-Man #1’ where they revealed some incredible variant covers, and now they have just released a second wave of them which are just as impressive!
The landmark issue celebrates 50 years since the original crossover issue and brings two of comics’ most iconic heroes in a new adventure that honours one of the most important crossovers in comic book history. DC’s one-shot is headlined by the lead story “Truth, Justice, and Great Responsibility” from Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez, in which intrepid newshounds Clark Kent and Peter Parker uncover a conspiracy that pulls Superman and Spider-Man into a universe-spanning threat involving Brainiac and Doctor Octopus. There are also back up stories by Tom King and Jim Lee, Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber, Sean Murphy, Gail Simone and Belén Ortega, Christopher Priest and Daniel Tampere, Greg Ruck and Nicola Scott, Jeff Lemire and Rafa Sandoval and more.
These new variants feature artwork by Jorge Jiménez and Tomeu Morey, J. Scott Campbell, Adam Hughes, Mitch Gerads, Rafa Sandoval & Ulises Arreola, Steve Lieber and Nathan Fairbairn, Doc Shaner, Jeff Spokes, Chrissie Zullo-Uminga and Scott Koblish and Hi-Fi. What I love about them is that a lot of them pay homage to previous artists and for me that is perfect! Here’s a look at the new variant covers that have been released:

Further details are expected to release for DC’s crossover in March, and Marvel’s crossover will have an update in April, plus there are more covers to be revealed including those by Arthur Adams, Olivier Coipel and Joshua Middleton.
‘Superman/Spider-Man #1’ is set for release on 25th March and is available to pre-order from your local comic shop right now!
