Gansi Premio DC Figures Revealed by Marinela
Mexican grocery Marinela also has some goodies under its sleeves like the Gansi Premio line of figures and cars. It looks like the DC Universe is joining it as a series of its own. It’s your typical chibi-inspired figure collection with 15 different characters to collect, three of which are Superman characters.
The collection includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, The Riddler, Krypto, Lex Luthor, Sinestro, and The Penguin.
With the Superman figure, it looks like the red streak can represent super speed. He does look like he’s in a running pose. That’s seldom been done before –sprinting Superman with Flash-like effects. But it’s probably just an easy way of handling the cape. The fun thing about chibi Lex is that he always looks like a baby as is the fate of all bald characters. The Krypto figure looks translucent. I also want to point out that this looks more like Flashpoint Batman that regular Batman with the red highlights. Batman doesn’t even have red in his color palette.
These figures are likely to come in packs that acts as blind boxes. It’s always fun to hope for Superman as you open one of these things. Latino retailors may carry them outside of Mexico and South America.
