DC Comics have just announced a brand new Elseworlds comic book series, it’s titled ‘Supergirl: Survive’ and is set to release later this year!

‘Supergirl: Survive’ is set to release on 3rd June and adds an intriguing twist on the story of the last Kryptonians. The series is written by Ethan S. Parker, with art by Griffin Sheridan and covers by Rod Reis and its creators promise a harrowing Elsewords tale of two refugees bound by blood, trauma and hope. As a huge comic book fan, I adore Elseworld stories and I am just so glad to see one revolve around Supergirl, this is a perspective we have never seen before and it sounds like it’s going to be an excellent read. Here’s a look at the covers by Rod Reis, Taurin Clarke and Guillem March.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Kara Zor-El lives a life of small problems—school dances, family squabbles, and the impossible task of holding her floppy baby cousin Kal—but Krypton has big ones. As General Zod tightens his grip and the planet begins to burn, Kara and Kal are launched into the stars together, trapped in a prototype rocket and fighting to survive a universe that doesn’t care if they live or die.
