DC Comics have just announced a brand new Alex Ross connecting variant cover for their upcoming facsimile release of ‘Avengers/JLA #4’.
The summer DC, alongside Marvel are re-releasing the 2003/2004 JLA/Avengers crossover by Kurt Busiek and George Pérez as a series of facsimile comics. For Marvel’s release of ‘JLA/Avengers #3’ which is set for release in July, Alex Ross is set to the connecting variant cover, that will then connect with DC’s release of ‘Avengers/JLA #4’ also by Alex Ross which is set for release in August. Here’s a look at both covers:

These new pieces are part of a two-piece connecting image which has been released EXCLUSIVELY for the facsimile editions, it is to pay homage to Pérez’s 1983 cover for ‘Comics Interview Special Edition #6’.
