McFarlane Toys Opens the Vault for Cyborg Superman in New DC Multiverse Wave 2 Reveal

McFarlane Toys has officially revealed Cyborg Superman as the first figure in Wave 2 of its McFarlane Vault Collection, giving DC Multiverse fans another chance to own one of the most visually striking villains in Superman lore. For Superman fans, this is not just another action figure announcement. This is Hank Henshaw, the broken astronaut who became one of the darkest reflections of the Man of Steel. He is the false Superman, the cybernetic nightmare and the villain who wore the symbol of hope while spreading fear, destruction and deception.

The promotional image understands the assignment. Cyborg Superman stands against a fiery, apocalyptic backdrop ( a destroyed Coast City?) with his red cape flowing behind him, one fist raised and the other arm extended with cold mechanical menace. One side of the figure carries the classic blue, red and yellow Superman design. The other exposes Henshaw’s silver cybernetic body, creating the unforgettable half-hero, half-machine appearance that has made the character a fan-favorite villain for decades.

According to currently available details, the 7-inch McFarlane Vault Collection Cyborg Superman figure includes a soft goods cape, an art card and a figure display base. The figure also fits within McFarlane Toys’ larger DC Multiverse line, which has become known for its highly articulated figures, comic-inspired designs and collector-focused presentation.

That makes this reveal especially exciting for fans who missed earlier Cyborg Superman releases or collectors who have been waiting for another opportunity to add him to their Superman display. The McFarlane Vault Collection is built around bringing back sought-after designs, classic updates and hard-to-find releases, giving fans another shot at figures that may have become difficult to secure or expensive on the secondary market.

As of now, McFarlane Toys has not released a full product page with final pricing, retailer links or a complete shipping window for the Vault Collection Cyborg Superman figure. That information is expected to become clearer once pre-orders open June 11. Until then, fans should keep an eye on McFarlane Toys, the McFarlane Toys Store and major online collectible retailers.

Still, the early reveal already does what it needed to do. It reminds collectors why Cyborg Superman remains one of the most chilling villains in the House of El’s history. He is not just powerful. He is personal. He is what happens when Superman’s image is stolen, weaponized and turned against the very people it was meant to protect.

For fans of “The Death of Superman,” “Reign of the Supermen,” Green Lantern lore and the wider DC Multiverse, this is one to watch closely. McFarlane Toys has opened the vault again, and this time, one of Superman’s most dangerous enemies is stepping out of the fire. The McFarlane Toys Cyborg Superman Action Figure is set to go up for pre-order on 11th June and select retailers.
