‘Superboy Prime Special #1’ Announced At New York Comic Con

New York Comic Con is the gift that keeps on giving! DC just announced a brand new ‘Superboy Prime Special #1’ during the DC Next Level panel and it has fans very excited!

Superboy Prime is set to return after teases featured in the Kingdom Of Zod story arc and will also build further on his recent redemption. The special is expected to release in 2027 and will bring back the creative team who has been leading on the Superman title he featured in – Joshua Williamson and Dan Mora. It is set to expand on this very story, which means they are the perfect people for the job, promising to lean into his meta humour, comic fan roots and also his outside views of the DC Universe!

Though his recent appearance was very much a redemption arc, I am extremely excited for this as I know many other fans are. I cannot wait to get more details about this special and I have to say I hope it leads to a solo series for this character.
