Earlier today Warner Bros Pictures shared the first trailer for DC’s upcoming animated film, ‘Legion Of Super-Heroes’ via their social media.
The animated film is set for release on 7th February and stars some familiar faces – or should I say voices. Meg Donnelly is set to lead as she voices Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, and Harry Shum Jr. is set to voice Brainiac 5. Reprising their roles are Darren Criss, who is returning as Superman/Clark Kent, Matt Bomer, who is voicing The Flash and Jensen Ackles who is returning as Batman/Bruce Wayne.
Here is the official ‘Legion Of Super-Heroes’ trailer from Warner Bros Pictures:
It is directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Josie Campbell and here is the official synopsis from WB Pictures:
Kara, devastated by the loss of Krypton, struggles to adjust to her new life on Earth. Her cousin, Superman, mentors her and suggests she leave their space-time to attend the Legion Academy in the 31st century, where she makes new friends and a new enemy: Braniac 5. Meanwhile, she must contend with a mysterious group called the Dark Circle as it searches for a powerful weapon held in the Academy’s vault.
Here is a closer look at Supergirl, Superman and Mon-El in action:
‘Legion Of Super-Heroes‘ is set for release on 7th February 2023 and I cannot wait. What we have seen so far looks great and I look forward to seeing these characters in action.
