Calling all DC Comics fans! Have I got the exhibition event for you… ‘DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super Heroes’.
Following its success when originally displayed in Paris, France, this incredibly unique exhibition by DC Entertainment, Warner Bros and Art Ludique-Le Musée is coming to London! This is the ultimate superhero experience for DC Comics lovers, like myself. The exhibition features and celebrates the history and iconic characters created by DC Comics, from the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Mr Freeze, The Joker and many more.
The exhibition will show-case original comics, along with concept art, sketches from renowned comic artists, together with genuine costumes, props and models that have been used in the DC films – both old and new. Attendees have the opportunity to walk through the history of DC chronologically and celebrate both the Superheroes of DC and its Villains, with exclusive and never-before-seen artwork and concepts.
For my fellow Superman fans, the exhibition has a wide focus around the history of DC Comics, with almost a century of artwork. This includes the introduction of the world’s first superhero – Superman, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938, which grew to kick-off and shape such an iconic genre. When else will you have the opportunity to see Christopher Reeves’ original super-suit from Superman: The Movie?
This fantastic exhibition opens on 23rd February at The O2 in London. There are a variety of tickets available starting at £22.00, including standard tickets, child tickets and premium tickets which include an exclusive goody bag. There are also limited tickets available to the Preview Night on 22nd February starting at 7pm, which includes a glass of prosecco – no brainer! It closes on 9th September 2018, so you have plenty of time to visit. Maybe even more than once…
The announcement of the exhibition was extremely low-key with just a few newspaper outlets presenting articles about it, which makes it seem even more exclusive. If the Art of The Brick Exhibition – DC Edition was anything to go by, you will not be disappointed and will leave wanting more!

I’ll see you there!
