DC Comics have just announced a brand new series titled ‘Superman: Lost’ and it sounds incredible.
‘Superman: Lost’ follows Superman after he is lost in space for TWENTY years after a routine call away for The Justice League. It focuses around the rekindling of relationships and Clark finding who he is after spending so much time away. The series is said to be part of a 85th anniversary celebration of the charter and I have to say it sounds like it could be interesting!
Here is the official synopsis from DC:
“Superman: Lost has been several years in the making and it’s been incredibly difficult for me to keep quiet about this,” said Writer Christopher Priest. “I am absolutely delighted to be reunited with my Deathstroke team as we explore the emotional toll a tragic loss exacts. A man of steel, from an alien species, is ultimately the most human among us. And finding his way home is only the beginning.”
Here’s a look at some of the covers by Lee Weeks and Carlo Pagulayan.
The series is said to be a self contained story, which are always some of my favourites as it allows for try creative freedom from the creators. It will be written by Eisner Award winning writer Christopher Priest with interior art by Carlo Pagulayan and Jason Paz. It will consist of 10 issues, each with 32 pages and costing $4.99 and here’s a look at the preview pages:
‘Superman: Lost’ #1 is out on 14th March 2023 and is available to pre-order from your local comic shop.
