‘Superman & Lois’ Casts Michael Cudlitz As Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor is officially coming to ‘Superman & Lois’ as Michael Cudlitz is cast as the billionaire mastermind for season three.

The news of the recasting of Lex Luthor was announced a few months back after Jon Cryer shared the news that he would no longer be playing the character we love to hate. Now, his replacement has been announced as Michael Cudlitz takes on the role. Cudlitz is known for playing Abraham in The Walking Dead and has proved himself a brilliant actor in all of his roles.

According to the The CW, this version of Lex Luthor is known as the mastermind behind LexCorp. Behind the scenes he has relationships with the criminal underworld and is known to them as a psychopath who terrorises anyone he crosses paths with. In this season, he returns after dropping out of the public eye and is hellbent on seeking revenge on those who he feels have wronged him… any guesses who that might be?

Well, this version of Lex Luthor already sounds dark and terrifying and I cannot wait to see what Cudlitz brings to the table for the character.

‘Superman & Lois’ Season 3 premieres on The CW on 14th March at 8pm ET and will be available to watch for free the following day on The CW App.
