Superman makes a historical entry in Hallmark’s Keepsake collection this October with the new 85th Anniversary Edition Superman #1 Christmas tree ornament. Even though Action Comics #1 is the most celebrated Superman cover of all time, no fan can forget the first time he got his own namesake series in 1939.
This tag-sized ornament utilizes a 3D Superman over the 2D background of the comic cover with the figure looking like he’s jumping right off the page. All credit to the artist and sculptor, Anita Marra. When the ornament is turned over, it has the same image of Superman breaking a chain as the original book did.
