DC Announce Brand New Comic Series ‘KNEEL BEFORE ZOD’ At SDCC
The series will be set up in Action Comics #1060 with a preview which is out in December 2023, with ‘Kneel Before Zod’ will release in 2024.
‘Kneel Before Zod’ is one of General Zod’s most famous lines, now it is also the title of a brand new series from DC Comics. The series was announced during the Superman panel on Saturday at SDCC and it is safe to say that Superman fans are being TREATED!
The series will be written by Joe Casey, who is returning to the Superman comic mythos after 20 years, with interior art by Dan McDaid. The series will be set on Krypton, the world at war, in the days before its destruction – a time where General Zod is ruling.
Here’s the official synopsis from Bleeding Cool and a look at the main cover for ‘Kneel Before Zod’ by Dan McDaid: “General Zod has lost everything—his son, his wife, his empire—to an invading alien armada. Zod uses guerrilla tactics to destroy the invaders, while amassing the tools he’ll need to take his revenge on the family that put him in this position in the first place…the house of El.”
