‘Superman: Solar’ is a fan film that was announced last year, now with a surprise release you can finally watch the short film in full online.
The film was driven by countless donations and is written and directed by AList Productions who have been working in video production for 15 years, they’ve worked on projects for TV, film, live events and has had opportunities to work with people involved with The Walking Dead, The Arrowverse and WWE. Now, they take on the iconic character of Superman.
According to IMDB, ‘Superman: Solar’ takes place “during his second year as Superman in which he goes on an emotional journey where he faces his greatest challenge yet and overcoming it will take more than any Kryptonian power he possesses“. The film sees Aaron Smolinksi as Lex Luthor, Glenn Kill as Clark Kent/Superman and Machaelle Noel as Lois Lane. You may even notice that Kat Grant has a very familiar voice – our very own Tasmin Humphries voices the character!
