‘All-Star Superman’ To Be Released As An Audiobook For The First Time
The iconic ‘All-Star Superman’ is set to be released as an audiobook for the very first time in a brand new recording from Penguin Random House Audio in collaboration with DC.
‘All-Star Superman’ is the Eisner Award-wining graphic novel by Grant Morrison and Frank Quietly and now it has been adapted for audiobook listeners by Meghan Fitzmartin and will feature a full cast of 25 voices, an original music score and even sound effects. Here’s a look at the voice cast:

In the audiobook, which directly adapts the complete 12-issue run of the original comic, Superman goes toe-to-toe with Bizarro, his oddball twin, and the new character Zibarro, also from the Bizarro planet. And Superman faces the final revenge of Lex Luthor in the form of his own death!
What I love about this is the fact that it is bringing Superman to potentially new audiences via a different method of entertainment. As a Superman fan, I’m more than happy to see my hero in different media formats and this, whilst it is new to me, feels very exciting. ‘All-Star Superman’ is the first release in the new audiobook collaboration between DC and Penguin Random House Audio, which will adapt four additional classic DC comic book titles to be published on audio for the first time. As of yet they have not yet been announced.
The ‘All-Star Superman’ audiobook is set for release on 24th June 2025.
