Fossil Releases Superman Collection

Leather bag and jewelry maker Fossil is joining the hype as Superman is a month away from theatrical release with two film-inspired collection. That collection includes a bracelet, two incredible watches, cufflinks and two wallets.

These two watches come in two distinct styles with a special edition container commemorating David Corenswet’s Superman.The one that most likely caught your attention was Superman flying over Metropolis in glorious full color and 3D illustrations. With the architecture of Metropolis and the art-deco typeface for the City of Tomorrow, the whole thing has that retro feel. It’s especially complimented by the classic Daily Planet building, unchanged since those days. The best part is Superman actually moves with the hour hand! This quartz three hand stainless steel watch is complimented by blue leather. The steel boxes that the watches come in are just magnificent. As Fossil says, they are made for Superman fans –and it really shows. You have a Daily Planet front page and Superman as featured in the film set to a sky backdrop.

The other offers a more minimalist design but fitting in with Superman thanks to its Fortress of Solitude-esque tones. Also, this one has time markers as opposed to just being a background graphic. It really does look like a stone key to the Fortress. In fact, that’s what they were going for with the coin-stamped dial. The band isn’t leather, but also stainless steel.
