European ‘Superman’ Steelbook Artwork Revealed

Itching to get your physical copy of the film that critics and fans have been raving about? There’s no need to break into the Fortress of Solitude, as details and images have surfaced online for the official European steelbook of James Gunn’s summer blockbuster, Superman. 

While the release date is yet to be revealed, we got a first glimpse at the European exclusive steelbooks coming in the near future. And as if one stunning steelbook wasn’t awesome enough, there’s also another steelbook you can get with a just as cool design. So without further ado, let’s check them out. 

First up, we have the Fortress of Solitude Steelbook, which shows the mighty gates opening in a not so subtle shape of an S, with Superman in the blistering cold of the arctic, entering his humble abode. It’s an incredibly striking image that evokes the epicness of the film and reminds audiences that by sliding this disc into their DVD player, you’ll be entering the cosmic and colorful world of the DCU. On the inside of the case, we see an image of the painfully one sided up in the sky fight between the Hammer of Boravia and big blue, giving you a taste of the action. If you flip to the back, there’s a majestic shot of Superman soaring towards a bright light, shrouded in darkness, perfectly encapsulating what Superman has been doing for 87 years, finding a better way forward, even in the darkest of times.  

The second one being released leans more in the vibrant side, showing a puzzled and goofy Clark Kent, and behind him, looms his altruistic all powerful alter ego shadow. It has a classic pop art quality to it, that feels very at home with the characters long history. On the back, shows the S insignia with Corenswet’s Superman zooming past it, who sees a job that looks like a certain someone can take care of. The inside is the exact same as the Fortress of Solitude Steelbook, so nothing different to report on there. 

Just like Superman himself, these Man of Steelbooks have a lot of cool perks. These include the 4K ultra copy, Blu Ray copy, and Digital copy as well (Note: the digital version does have a limited time offer of 9/30/27, so if you want to beat Lex Luthor from snatching your digital copy, make sure to go through the process). 

While there’s not much else in terms of information on these European steelbooks, one thing is for certain. Thousands of comic book fans and film aficionados alike will be dropping these copies of the film in their digital and physical cart.
