Pre-Orders Sell Out for INART Collectibles Superman Sixth Scale Figure on Superman Day

Last week, the one of Superman Day 2026 no less, INART Collectibles started pre-orders for their 1/6 Superman 1978  high end figure. Or rather figures because the premium edition offered a Clark Kent figure in addition to Superman as well as additional accessories. Unfortunately, the figures have sold out with the regular edition going to $285 and the premium edition going for $539.

I’ve seen several high-quality Superman ’78 figures and they’ve all nailed the simplistic fabric-like detail of the suit. But what I’ve never seen is this attention to detail to the boots. I didn’t even know they had those second creases up until now. The crest may also stand on its own as a plastic piece like the belt. The face mold uses the iconic photo shot as a reference. These high-end figures are art pieces in themselves.

Even that would be an understatement for the Clark Kent figure the premium edition comes with. It’s almost like a little person with little clothes. From the stitching on his dress shirt to the pattern on his glasses, this is one of the most detailed figures I’ve ever seen. With added accessories like a hat, jacket, and briefcase, this is not your daughter’s doll. And yes, the shirt does open to reveal his suit.

Other accessories include interchangeable heads, hairstyles, the Kryptonite necklace, a figure base, and even the bullet Clark catches in the alley –it’s so tiny yet so detailed!
