Bottleneck Gallery has officially revealed “Superman vs. Kaiju” by acclaimed artist Greg Ruth, a jaw-dropping new print inspired by James Gunn’s Superman that captures the Man of Steel in a massive battle above Metropolis. The artwork does not simply celebrate Superman’s power. It celebrates his courage, urgency and willingness to fly directly toward danger when everyone else is running from it.

Ruth’s print features Superman soaring above the city as a chaotic kaiju tears through Metropolis, creating the kind of cinematic spectacle that feels ripped from the biggest superhero splash page imaginable. Fans of the 2025 blockbuster will also notice members of The Justice Gang flanking the creature, including Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Mister Terrific and Hawkgirl, making the artwork feel like a direct extension of one of the film’s biggest set pieces.

According to Bottleneck Gallery’s official release announcement, Ruth’s newest print features an intense fight between Superman and the chaotic kaiju unleashed on Metropolis, while also delivering a uniquely cinematic perspective. That description fits perfectly. This is not just a poster. It is a freeze-frame from the kind of Superman moment fans dream about: huge stakes, impossible odds and one red cape cutting through the chaos.

The release included two limited versions. The standard “Superman vs. Kaiju” edition is a fine art giclée, measures 24 x 36 inches, is hand-numbered, limited to an edition of 100, and was priced at $60. It also offered a premium “Superman vs. Kaiju – Acrylic Panel Print” edition, featuring archival pigment on a 4mm thick acrylic panel, also measuring 24 x 36 inches. That version included a digital numbered certificate of authenticity issued by Verisart, was limited to only 15, and was priced at $125.

Both editions were released through Bottleneck Gallery’s official website on Friday, June 5 at 12 p.m. ET. Collectors who missed the initial drop should keep an eye on the gallery’s site, as both editions are currently listed as sold out, with a “Missed out? Notify me” option available.
