Warner Bros. World Yas Island Announce ‘Kryptonite Collider’ and ‘Superman Up and Away’ Attractions
Warner Bros. World Yas Island have just announced two brand new rides for their theme park, they are titled ‘Kryptonite Collider’ and ‘Superman Up and Away’.
Miral is the leading creator of experiences and attractions in Abu Dhabi and now they have partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery to announce two brand new Superman themed rides at the Warner Bros. World Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. ‘Kryptonite Collider’ is set to open to the public on the 26th July, with ‘Superman Up and Away’ expected to open in 2028.

‘Kryptonite Collider’ will be an immersive and high energy attraction and experience fuelled by the power of Kryptonite. Even whilst in the queue thrill seekers will be test subject for Luthor’s ‘Everyman Project’ and will get immersed in his vision through infomercial-style video announcements prior to boarding. Once seated in the 32-guest centrifuge-style ride vehicle, participants are dynamically swept through a vortex of powerful motion and energy, with integrated onboard audio and lighting effects intensifying the electrifying experience. The attraction offers riders a taste of superhuman powers, brought to life on interactive digital screens after the ride’s conclusion.
‘Superman Up and Away’ is set to be a next-generation flying rollercoaster that brings the fantasy of flight to life whilst launching guests face-down alongside Superman on a mission to protect Metropolis.
There are exciting things ahead of Warner Bros. World Yas Island! Will you be riding on the ‘Kryptonite Collider’ or are you holding out for ‘Superman Up and Away’? Either way, the excitement begins on 26th July 2026.
