Supergirl and Batgirl Unite in Stunning New Limited-Edition Artgerm Art Print
Sideshow Collectibles has opened pre-orders for the Supergirl & Batgirl Fine Art Print, an officially licensed DC art print featuring Kara Zor-El and Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl by acclaimed artist Stanley “Artgerm” Lau.
Presented as protectors of the day and night, Supergirl and Batgirl make a striking pair. Kara embodies warmth and strength as she stands illuminated by the sunlight of Midvale, while Stephanie, with batarang in hand, is partially cloaked in shadows, representing the stealth she uses to protect Gotham City under the cover of darkness. Together, the two heroes represent a new generation committed to preserving justice in Midvale and Gotham.
Longtime DC readers may recognize the artwork. Artgerm originally created the piece as a variant cover for Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #1, written by Mark Waid and released by DC in 2022. Four years later, collectors can now bring the artwork from the comic-book rack to their own Fortress of Solitude.
Sideshow is offering the artwork in three presentations: an 18 x 24-inch giclée on paper unframed, an 18 x 24-inch giclée on paper with a black frame and a 16 x 24-inch HD Aluminum version with a black frame. The unframed paper edition is priced at $95, approximately £72.05, and is expected to ship between September and November 2026. The black-framed giclée version is currently listed at $365, approximately £276.82, while the HD aluminum version is currently listed at $375, approximately £284.40, and is expected to ship between November and December 2026.
The 18 x 24-inch paper giclée edition is limited to 200 pieces and features heavyweight, 100-percent cotton, acid-free archival fine art paper, Epson archival inks, an authorized automated Artgerm signature and an embossed Sideshow Seal of Authenticity. The image itself measures 14 x 20 inches. For collectors looking for something different, the HD Aluminum edition takes the artwork to glossy ChromaLuxe metal and places it inside a matte black wood floating frame. That version measures 16 x 24 inches before framing and is an even smaller limited edition of only 50 pieces.
Artgerm has become one of the most recognizable artists in modern comics, particularly for his acclaimed portrayals of DC’s heroes. This latest collectible gives Supergirl fans another opportunity to celebrate the Maid of Might while also highlighting the friendship and contrasting worlds of two members of the Superman and Batman families.
