Jeans For Genes is a charity that supports children that are affected by genetic disorders. Each year they encourage people to put on their own events and put together fundraising ideas to raise money for this great cause. This year the events and fundraising takes place from Monday 16th-Friday 20th September.
Personally, I always love when a brand/company partners with a charity that does such great things. If it’s a brand you love, it’s an easy way to boost donations and for you to do your part for charity. Now, DC Comics/Warner Brothers UK has done just that! They have partnered with Jeans For Genes to bring us a limited edition T-Shirt to celebrate a special someone’s 80th anniversary – unfortunately it isn’t Superman, but it is still pretty special, and like I said for a great cause!
It’s a classic Batman/Batgirl design, suitable for both sexes. I love the classic and almost simplistic element to it. The white and grey details look striking against the black material. The two companies teamed up with Kingston School of Art’s Chayanis Jumrus who designed this bat-tastic T-shirt. Incredible work! It is available for all shapes and sizes – there is a men’s cut varying from S-XL, a women’s cut varying from size 8-22 and sizes also available for children aged 1-14. The adult tee is priced at £20.00 and the children’s tee at £9.00.
Each size has a limited quantity available, so be sure to order yours before it’s too late! They are available NOW from the official site.
As I mentioned before, it’s great to see such an influential company do their bit for charity. DC/WB UK, I salute you.
