Telford Comic Con hosts plenty for Superman fans
Telford Comic Con have got one hell of an event planned for Superman fans! They are bringing so many great guests and panels to the Midlands, so far they have a fantastic line-up!
The convention has announced three Superman themed guests – so far… and I’m sure there are plenty more to be announced.
First up, Tyler Hoechlin who plays the Man Of Steel in Supergirl, and is also known for his work on Teen Wolf. He is appearing both Saturday & Sunday, and will be doing photos & autographs for £50.00.
Next up, John Glover who played Lionel Luthor in the hugely popular TV series Smallville, he also appeared as Dr Sivana’s father in the latest DC film Shazam. He will be appearing both Saturday and Sunday, if I’m honest I’ve never seen him appear at a con in the UK before, so this is a great opportunity to meet him! He will be doing photoshoots and autographs for £30 each, which is not a bad price at all!
Yep, I saved the best til last… Superman himself – Tom Welling will be appearing both Saturday and Sunday too! He portrayed our beloved Man Of Steel alongside John Glover in Smallville. He has recently started doing more conventions, and has only ever appeared at a UK con once before, again a great opportunity to meet your hero. He will be signing autographs and doing photoshoots for £50.00 each.
Not only this, but they have also announced that they will be hosted a Smallville panel at the event! This is your opportunity to ask your favourite stars of Smallville the important questions. This also makes me think they may be announcing a few more Smallville guests. There are limited details on the panel, only that it will be happening on the Saturday of the event. Confusingly, the convention is actually called Wales Comic Con: Telford Takeover, please note the event does not take place in Wales! The convention takes place from 7th-9th December, check their site for more details. Regardless if you have booked an autograph or a photo-shoot, you still need to purchase an entry ticket.
