Hot Toys have announced Tom and Jerry Cosbaby Superman collectibles and they are adorable! That’s right, Bugs Bunny isn’t the only cartoon character dressing up as Superman for Warner Bros’ 100th Anniversary.
This time Tom and Jerry don the timeless suit together thanks to a new collectible figure set by Hot Toys for their Cosbaby range. The duo is another one of Warner Bros’ iconic cartoons created by Joseph Barbera and William Hanna in 1940 which continues to entertain even today. Tom and Jerry have a line of cosplaying figures in honor of Warner Bros’ anniversary from the Hot Toys Cosbaby lines. In the range they are also dressed as Batman and the Joker and students at Hogwarts (Tom in Slytherin and Jerry in Gryffindor). Here’s a look at the Tom and Jerry Cosbaby Superman Collectible set:
The two put on their serious faces but can’t help but come across as adorable thanks to the chibi-like styling. The costumes also fit them according to their proportions, so it’s supposed to be wholesome rather than fierce. There are some nice subtle touches of detail as well like Jerry’s cape blowing in the wind while Tom’s looks to be more at rest.
The Tom figure measures at 10.5 cm while Jerry measures at 5 cm. Hot Toys has begun preorders for the Tom And Jerry Superman Cosbaby Collectible set on their website at $29.99 with orders expected to ship out at the end of June this year.
