McFarlane Toys Announce Pre-Orders For DC Multiverse Superman vs. Ultraman 2-Pack

McFarlane Toys announced pre-orders for a truly multiversal Superman 2-pack in their DC Multiverse figure line, which never disappoints. This set features Superman and his Earth-3 counterpart, Ultraman. Though, the packaging and branding refer to him as the Superman of Earth-3. 

These 7″ scale figures fit right in with the various other Superman figures that McFarlane has done. The Superman included in this set has a nice bright smile and wears the Superman Reborn apparel, just months before they brought the trunks back in Action Comics #1000. Ultraman’s appearance includes his more original elements like lack of a belt and trunks with blue boots. Naturally, he looks like he’s about to lose his cool with glowing laser eyes and disheveled hair. 

The figures come with all the usual points of articulation for DC Multiverse figures along with six total interchangeable hands. In tradition to the figures, two collectible art cards are included. A small figure of Crime Syndicate member Atomica also comes with Ultraman as an ally. What also makes this set unique is the inclusion of a destroyed Daily Planet base for figure environments. The box also has some Superman 85th Anniversary branding, which makes as a historic time stamp. 

The Superman vs. Superman of Earth-3 DC Multiverse is now available for pre-order at $39.99 at select retailers like Gamestop, Target, Amazon, Entertainment Earth, BigBagToyStore, and McFarlane Toys. It is expected to dispatch September 2023.
