New Zealand Mint Release Superman Silver 1oz Coin

New Zealand Mint are at it again and have released a brand new Superman 1oz Silver Coin. As I’ve said before I am a huge fan of collectible coins, especially when they are Superman themed.

This piece is no exception and is certainly a unique take on the term coin, with it’s iconic shape. I particularly love the red lining on the emblem, it really makes the piece pop.

This 1oz pure silver coin celebrates SUPERMAN™, the most powerful hero in the world. The coin has been shaped to resemble SUPERMAN’s iconic “S” shield. The “S” has been defined with a pop of red enamel and the mirror finish ensures the silver catches the light. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse and confirms it as a legal tender coin.

The New Zealand Mint Superman 1oz Silver Coin is limited edition with just 5,000 pieces in circulation and is priced at $99.00. You can pre-order your very own coin via the their website, with orders expected to ship early May 2021.
