DC Comics has just announced a brand new series titled ‘Justice League Infinity‘. Those who are fans of the Justice League Unlimited Animated Series are bound to enjoy this, as it serves as a continuation to that very series!
The series will be a limited series with seven issues and will be co-written by producer James Tucker and series writer J.M. DeMatteis. I adore that they have stuck with the original writers for this, not only will the characters portrayals be authentic to the animated series, but this really does act as a direct follow on to it too. Not only will the pair revive much loved characters, but they will also incorporate a bunch of new characters from the multiverse too.
Here are a look at the covers for #1 of ‘Justice League Infinity‘. The standard cover (left) is by Francis Manapul, and the variant cover (right) is by Scott Hepburn. Please note that only #1 will have variant covers, the remaining issues will not.
Here is the official synopsis write up from DC Comics:
In this debut issue, there is a being wandering the universe searching for its true purpose, but what it finds out on the farthest edges of the cosmos will change not just our universe, but many! Meanwhile, the war for the throne of Apokolips arrives on Earth, and the true ruler will only be decided one way: Who can destroy the Justice League?

The artwork will be by Ethen Beavers and I have to say it looks fantastic and incredibly vibrant from the preview pages below. I am very much looking forward to this series!
