New Animated Series Titled ‘My Adventures With Superman’ Announced

A brand new animated series titled ‘My Adventures With Superman’ has just been announced to launch on HBO Max and Cartoon Network. I cannot tell you how much this news has made me smile, it’s about time we got a new Superman animated series, even if it is aimed towards a younger audience!

The excellent news comes from the WarnerMedia Upfronts presentation that took place on Wednesday. It was also confirmed there that the series has been signed up for two series already, which again is great to hear and really shows that they have confidence in the show.

Here’s a look at the animation featuring Clark, Lois and Jimmy. First of all, it’s clear that they are going for anime style with this animation, and I’m not mad at it. It reminds me of the animation from Pokemon and that franchise pretty much got me through my childhood, so that is a nice touch for me. One thing I do adore is that Lois Lane has purple eyes, and that is a great nod to the character and her mythos in Superman lore.

It has too been announced that Jack Quaid, who stars in The Boys will be the voice of Clark Kent/Superman with Alice Lee as Lois Lane. Here is the official synopsis from

The series will follow the action-packed, comedic, and romantic adventures of Superman and Lois Lane will follow Clark Kent and Lois Lane as twenty-somethings along with their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are as well as what they can accomplish working together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.

Well, it’s safe to say that this series sounds very promising, it has a great cast so far, great animation and it is clear that WB have some real confidence in this show to issue it for two series before it has even aired.

Sadly there is no news yet as to when this series will be coming out, but I am extremely excited to find out more about this show.
