McFarlane Toys Announce SDCC Exclusive 85th Anniversary Superman Action Figure

McFarlane Toys are bringing the Superman 85th Anniversary seal to life with a new SDCC Exclusive Superman action figure part of the DC Multiverse Gold Label Collection.

The figure uses the classic Superman build, but it’s the unique color that makes all the difference. We’ve seen it on all the newest Superman merchandise to come out this year – a rendition of the Man of Steel by Jim Lee with a large 85 in the background. It’s not just another milestone anniversary, but a true time stamp in pop culture when it will be looked at in the future. Here’s a look at the figure:

The 22-point articulated figure measures the usual 7 inches and comes with a collectible card, a Superman emblem base and a flying stand. As the item limited edition, it also comes with an exclusive certificate of authenticity. There’s also a backdrop with the 85 that the figure can be posed in a true 3-D rendition of the anniversary seal.
