DC Comics have teased the Trinity Of Evil which is set to form following the events of ‘Titans: Beast World’, The ‘House Of Brainiac’ and the return of Zur En Arrh in 2024. Those three new titles and storylines will have major consequences for the DC Universe going forward.
In ‘Titans: Beast World’, Beast Boy is about to lose control of this powers, unleashing them across the DC Universe. The series will see both heroes and villains fighting to retain their humanity or turn into uncontrollable animalistic versions of themselves. Amanda Waller will play a key role in the series and will attempt to rid humanity of metahumans once and for all, no matter the cost. This scheming is set to begin in ‘Action Comics #1060’ and ‘Titans: Beast World Tour Metropolis #1’ and starts with Waller recruiting a brand new Task Force X with Dreamer playing a vital role.
As announced at New York Comic Con, ‘Superman Superstars‘ is set to takeover ‘Action Comics’ and one of those story lines will see Superman, Brainiac and the Brainiac Queen will play crucial roles in the DC Universe for 2024. The ‘House Of Brainiac’ story arc will consist of six parts which will be told across the ‘Action Comics’ and the ‘Superman’ title and also a ‘Superman/Brainiac’ one shot special. This story arc will also link in very closely to ‘Titans: Beast World’ and will result in a major confrontation and will see a Trinity of Evil lurking in the shadows to capitalize on the chaos introduced in this series.
‘Titans: Beast World’ starts on 28th November and ‘Action Comics #1060’ and ‘Titans: Beast World Tour Metropolis #1’ is set for release on 12th December. This new roster of Task Force X will lead to a brand new series titled ‘Suicide Squad: Dream Team’ which is set to launch in March. I can’t wait to hear more about the Trinty Of Evil!
